Ingredients
  

  • 2 pounds Beyond Beef
  • 4 cups tomato sauce
  • 1 tbsp dill
  • 1 tbsp oregano
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp allspice
  • 1 tbsp smoked paprika
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce use vegan version if needed
  • 1 tbsp black soy sauce
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp red crushed dried pepper flakes
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • For the Pasta:
  • Elbow macaroni about 16 oz
  • Water for boiling
  • Salt
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • Pinch of asafetida hing

  • 1 Deep skillet or saucepan
  • 1 Wooden spoon or spatula
  • 1 Strainer/colander
  • 1 Measuring spoons and cups

Method

  2. Step 1: Cook the Pasta
  3. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  4. Add elbow macaroni and cook according to package instructions.
  5. Add a little oil and a pinch of asafetida to enhance digestion and flavor.
  6. Drain and set aside.Step 2: Prepare the Beyond Beef Sauce
  7. Heat oil in a deep skillet over medium heat.
  8. Add Beyond Beef and cook until browned.
  9. Stir in dill, oregano, black pepper, allspice, and smoked paprika.
  10. Add tomato sauce and mix well.
  11. Stir in hoisin sauce, oyster sauce, and black soy sauce.
  12. Add bay leaves and let simmer for 10–15 minutes.
  13. Season with salt and crushed red pepper flakes.Step 3: Combine
  14. Add cooked macaroni into the sauce.
  15. Mix thoroughly until pasta is fully coated.
  16. Simmer for another 3–5 minutes for flavors to blend.
