- Sieve the flour and powdered milk in a large mixing bowl
- Add the cardamom and 2 tbsp of sugar and mix well
- Microwave butter for 20 sec add to the dry ingredients and mix well
- Add the water to the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
- While the dough is resting, heat the oil on the stove.4o
- Cut the dough into four equal parts and roll each piece out. Then, cut the rolled dough into 2-inch squares. Fry the dough squares until they are golden brown and cooked through
- For the sugar syrup add the rest of the sugar, cardamom,3tbsp water in a pot and cook until the sugar thickens to the right consistency
- Mix the sugar and the fried dough and mix thoroughly add the powdered milk and mix until all the pieces are coated with milk and sugar and let stand for 20 minutes to dry
